Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology (NSIT) was earlier known as Delhi Institute of Technology and was inaugurated by Atal Bihari Vajpayee, former Prime Minister of India. The Institute was renamed as “Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology” in 1997.
