HPCET Counselling 2021
HPCET Counselling 2021 is conducted by Himachal Pradesh Technical University. HPCET Counselling 2021 will be conducted via online mode and the candidates have to submit the application form online through official website. HPCET Counselling 2021 dates have been not been released, the tentative month would be June. HPCET 2021 counselling will be conducted in many rounds. All the candidates have to fill in the registration form in order to participate in counselling and seat allotment process. After giving the HPCET 2021 exam the candidates are shortlisted on the basis of merit, college preference and availability of seats. 50% seats are filled with JEE Main Score and 50% via HPCET Score. About HPCET
HPCET stands for Himachal Pradesh Combined Entrance Test conducted by Himachal Pradesh Technical University for admission in the courses like B.Tech, B.Pharm, MBA, M.Tech, MCA, etc. HPCET 2021 is conducted annually and is an offline exam. HPCET Counselling 2021 Process:
There are certain steps that are to be followed at the time of going through the counselling session which includes registering on the official website, uploading the necessary document, paying the counselling fee. Candidates who have completed their 10+2 in 2020 or 2021 are qualified for appearing in the counselling session.
Registration:
First of all the candidates have to register themselves online at the official website of HPCET 2021 i.e. http:// himtu.ac.in. Candidates have to enter all the basic details like fathers’ name, mothers’ name, address, contact number, email address, etc.
Choice Locking:
After paying the counselling fee the candidates have to lock their choices for the course and the college they wish to take admission in. It is advisable to choose the maximum number of choices in order to increase the probability of getting admission. Candidates will also get the option to add, delete and modify the choices locked by the candidates.
Seat Allotment:
The basis of seat allotment is purely on the candidates merit score which is again on the basis of rank, college preference, availability of seats, etc. The seat allotment result will be released online and the candidate has to enter the login credentials. Download the allotment letter and carry it to the allotted institute.
Payment of Fee:
The candidates who were allotted with a seat have to pay the fee specified by the respective college. Failing to which i.e. payment of fee the allotment of seat will be automatically cancelled.
