GOVERNMENT POLYTECHNIC CHUNAR MIRJAPUR was established by Govt. of Uttar Pradesh in 1964 with three courses in Diploma Engg., Civil Engg., Mechanical Engg. (Production) & Electrical Engg.
This institution is one of the oldest Polytechnic Institutes in U.P. It is located on National Highway No. 7 (Rewa Road) about 1 Km. from Mirzapur Railway Station.
At present five, 3 yrs. Diploma Engg. courses are running with an intake of 60 students in each course.
