CUSAT CAT stands for Cochin University of Science and Technology Common Admission Test held every year for granting admission in B. Tech course. CUSAT CAT is a University level examination. Apart from B. Tech CUSAT CAT is conducted for courses like M.Tech, M.Phil, M.Voc, MCA, B.Sc, M.Sc, B.A.LLB, LLM and other programs. CUSAT CAT Counselling 2021 Process:
There are certain steps that are to be followed at the time of going through the counselling session which includes registering on the official website, uploading the necessary document, paying the counselling fee. Candidates who have completed their 10+2 in 2020 or 2021 are qualified for appearing in the counselling session.
Registration:
First of all the candidates have to register themselves online at the official website of CUSAT CAT 2021. Candidates have to enter all the basic details like fathers’ name, mothers’ name, address, contact number, email address, etc.
Choice Locking:
After paying the counselling fee the candidates have to lock their choices for the course and the college they wish to take admission in. It is advisable to choose the maximum number of choices in order to increase the probability of getting admission. Candidates will also get the option to add, delete and modify the choices locked by the candidates.
Seat Allotment:
The basis of seat allotment is purely on the candidates merit score which is again on the basis of rank, college preference, availability of seats, etc. The seat allotment result will be released online and the candidate has to enter the login credentials. Download the allotment letter and carry it to the allotted institute.
Payment of Fee:
The candidates who were allotted with a seat have to pay the fee specified by the respective college. Failing to which i.e. payment of fee the allotment of seat will be automatically cancelled.
Reporting to the allotted college:
After making the payment, the candidates will get the notification about the date and time of the allotted college.
Document Verification:
After locking in the choices candidates have to report to the allotted college for document verification. It is advised to the candidates to carry their original and photocopy of the documents mentioned below:
