Assam PAT 2021 is conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education, Assam. Applicants can fill the application form from the official website, Candidates who have passed 10th standard in Science stream can fill the Application Form. Through the test, the candidate can get admission to the Polytechnic Diploma courses in various Polytechnic Institutes in Assam. Residents of Assam who satisfies the eligibility criteria mentioned by the body can apply for this exam. Only those candidates are eligible to apply for Assam PAT 2021 who are permanent resident of Assam. Assam PAT 2021 will be held in selected centers at Mangaldoi, Tezpur, Tinsukia and in Govt. Polytechnics/ Institutions of Assam.

Eligibility Criteria of Assam PAT 2021:
For the purpose of admission, exam authorities have framed a list of eligibility criteria for appearing in Assam PAT 2021 that all candidates are required to meet. Non-conformity to these prescribed eligibility criteria may lead to disqualification at any stage of the admission process. The important eligibility criteria that the candidate must meet for appearing in the exam have been described below.
Eligibility criteria of Assam PAT 2021
- Qualifying exam – The candidate needs to have passed H.S.L.C or any equivalent exam in a single sitting with a minimum 40% aggregate marks in Mathematics and Science. Minimum aggregate marks in the two subjects for SC and ST candidates are 35% and 33% respectively.
- Physical fitness – The candidate needs to be physically and mentally fit.
- Residential eligibility – The candidate needs to be an Indian national and permanent resident of

- General- Twenty years and six months on December 31, 2021.
- SC/ST- Twenty three years and six months on December 31, 2021.
- Institutions outside Assam- 20 years and six months on Dec 31, 2021.
How to Fill Application Form of Assam PAT 2021
The online application form of Assam PAT 2021 is now available in online mode. Before filling the form, the candidates are advised to go through the guidelines, including eligibility criteria, carefully so the application process was smooth and error-free.
Steps to fill Application Form Assam PAT 2021
- Registration – To start the registration process, the candidate had to first select the course and then enter other details, including valid email id and mobile number.
- Filling of application form – In this step, the candidate had to fill different section in the application form like academic details, course details, and contact information.
- Uploading of the document – Next photograph and signature had to be uploaded in file size of not more than 100Kb.
- Generation of Application Number – Once the application was filled and documents uploaded, the candidate had to click on the Submit button. Doing so generated an Application Number. Note it down.
- Payment of application fee: The application fee for appearing in the exam was Rs.500 (excluding bank charges), and could be paid both in online and offline mode.
- Application submission – Check that the Assam PAT 2021 application form is complete in all respects.

ssam PAT 2021: Admit Card
The candidates who will successfully submit the application form along with the application fee are able to download the Admit card. Candidate must enter the application number and Date of Birth to download the admit card. Take a printout of Admit card and keep it safe till the admission in the course. The candidate should carry the admit card in the examination hall on the day of Admission test. No candidate will be allowed to enter the examination hall without the valid admit card.
Candidates may follow the steps listed below to download the Admit Card for Assam PAT 2021: –
- Go to the official website of DTE Assam- dte.assam.gov.in.
- Scroll down, click on ‘Download Admit Card for Assam PAT 2021’.
- Now candidates will be redirected to a page from where they can download the Admit Card.
- Candidates need to enter their Application Number and date of Birth and Click on ‘Log in.’
- Option to download the Admit Card will appear on the screen.
- Candidates are advised to get at least 2 colored printouts of this Admit Card, for examination purpose and future reference also.
Assam PAT 2021 Result:
The result of the Assam PAT 2021 (pen-and-paper based) exam will be announced in the last week of May in online mode. The Assam PAT 2021 result will contain the important information like qualifying status of the candidate, subject-wise and total marks, and the merit rank. To prepare the Assam PAT 2021, the marks obtained by the candidate in the entrance exam will be considered, and no weight age will be given to qualifying marks.
The result would also carry information like the counselling schedule and venue, but only for qualified candidates.

Assam PAT 2021 Result is declared on May 29, 2021 on the official website of DTE Assam. Candidates may follow the following steps to view Assam PAT 2021;
- Go to the official website of DTE Assam- dte.assam.gov.in.
- Scroll down, Click on ‘PAT-2021 Result’.
- Now a new page for Assam PAT 2021 result will appear.
- On this page, enter roll number and click on ‘Submit.’
- The result card for Assam PAT 2021 will appear on the screen.
- Candidates are advised to get a coloured print out of this result card as it may be needed in the admission process.
