Aryabhat Polytechnic formerly Aryabhat Polytechnic is a premier Polytechnic under the Department of Technical Education, Govt. of Delhi. The Polytechnic was established in the year 1962 and is located in a spacious campus on G.T.Karnal.
And hence is well connected by buses and easily accessible The Polytechnic offers six full-time Diploma courses in generic branches of engineering i.e. Civil, Electrical, Mechanical. As well as in emerging areas of technology i.e. Mechanical & Maintenance, Architecture, and Garment Fabrication Technology.
The Polytechnic is also running three Part Time Evening Diploma course in Civil, Electrical and Mechanical Engg for working personnel, under Continuing Education Programs. It has a student strength of about 1500.

ADMISSION POLICY
The admissions to the different Diploma courses are based on the Common Entrance Test taken by the Department Of Training & Technical Education, Delhi in May /June every year.
The prospectus is out in the month of April every year. The minimum eligibility criteria for a candidate to be selected with a minimum 35 percent aggregate in English, Maths, Science & pass in rest of the subjects in Class 10th.
The subjects Science, Mathematics & English are compulsory and the candidate should have passing marks in each of these three subjects without considering grace marks. Reservations are made for candidates belonging to Reserved Castes, Physically Handicapped & Wards Of Defense.
ELIGIBILITY FOR ADMISSION in part-time diploma (a) Passed in 10th class of 10+2 System or Metric or any other examination recognized as equivalent to 10th class examination, conducted by CBSE at the time of admission.
The subjects Science, Mathematics and English are compulsory and the candidate should have passed in these three subjects. And (b) Passed NCVT/SCVT from Regular/Private/Part-Time & formal trade through the ITIs/ITCs Apprenticeship Certificate Exam of the analogous* Diploma course.
OR Passed 12th class examination of analogous* 10+2 Vocational Stream of CBSE or equivalent. The candidate should be employed/self-employed in the related field.
In the case of the self-employed, relevant documentary proof/affidavit is to be attached as on the day of submitting the online Admission.
Eligibility for the admission to B.Voc Course : (1) 12th Pass with 50% with Science Stream (PCM) for Technical Trades, (2) 12th Pass with 50% with any stream for Applied Arts and Interior Design or (3) 10+ITI Students (in analogous trades) The Age limit : 16 years to 45 years.
