AYUSH Counselling AACCC 2022 Important Dates, Admission Process, Counselling Rounds

For AYUSH counselling AACCC there are both Government & Private Medical college which gives admission on the basis of NEET score, just like for that of MBBS/BDS it also have two counselling authorities. Under All India Quota (15%) AACCC conducts counselling and State Counselling Authority conduct admissions for State Quota (85%). In 2019 All India Quota (15%) counselling had started before 2019 state counselling authorities conducted counselling. Here we will get the information about the All India Quota (15%). AACCC (AYUSH Admissions Central Counselling Committee) for 15% All India Quota

This committee comes under Ministry of Ayurveda, Yoga & Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha and Homeopathy (AYUSH). It is a central counselling committee which gives admissions for UG and PG courses. This process is completely online from Registration till seat allotment. Students from across India from all the states who qualified NEET 2021 are eligible for admission. Under AYUSH institutions AACCC conducts admission for BAMS, BHMS, BSMS and BUMS courses. Under this Government, Government Aided, Central University/National Institutions, Private and Deemed University all these types of institutions are a part of it.

State Counselling Authority (State DME)

All the states frame a counselling committee which conducts counselling for 85% seats in Government Medical College and all seats for Private Medical College. This counselling is conducted for the courses i.e. BAMS, BHMS, BNYS and BUMS. All these admissions are given on the basis of NEET score. Candidates of a particular state can apply to Private or Government AYUSH Colleges and take admission. Although there are several states which allow candidates from outside states also and are called Open State. Candidates having low marks can also get admission. Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Karnataka, Kerala are popular open states. How to take admission in 15% All India Quotas?

20 days after the announcement of NEET 2021 results AACCC start registration and choice filling process. The official website for the process is https://aaccc.gov.in. In All India Quota the first and second round counselling is conducted by AACCC, if the seats remained after the second round then it is transfer to the state to which the college belongs to.

AACCC conducts First round, second round and mop up round counselling for Central University/National Institutes and Deemed University. After the mop up round if there are vacant seats then it is filled by a Stray vacancy round and is by the institute itself.

AYUSH Counselling AACCC Application Form

For getting into the counselling process the candidate must fill in the application form with the application fee. The complete process is online and could be done via official website of AACCC i.e. https://aaccc.gov.in . The candidates have to fill in the basic details like name, date of birth, mobile number, NEET roll number, etc. After completing the registration form the candidates have to log in with ID and password provided to them after the successful registration. 4          Rank Card of NEET UG – 2021 issued by NTA.

5          Aadhar Card/Voter ID Card/Ration Card/Passport as the case may be

written in the Application Form of NEET – UG – 2021 (any one of the ID

is required as mentioned in NEET application).

6          Date of Birth Certificate (if Secondary School Examination Certificate does not have the same)

7          Secondary School Examination or equivalent Certificate

8          10+2 Mark Sheet (Qualifying Examination Mark Sheet)

9          10+2 Certificate or Provisional Certificate (Qualifying Examination Certificate).Provisional Certificate is permissible for those candidates who had passed in the year 2021 only.

10       Character Certificate from the School or College last attended.

11       Six passport size coloured Photographs (same as uploaded on the Online Application Form in NEET UG – 2021) and One Postcard size coloured photographs (same as uploaded on the Online Application Form in NEET UG -2021 ).

12       SC/ST/OBC Certificate (if applicable)

FAQ

The full form of BAMS is (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery).

Candidates have to complete their Class 12th with an aggregate of 50% in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English subjects. While reserved category candidates have to qualify Class 12 with 40% and Persons with Disabilities (PwD) has to secure at least 45%
