G B Pant Polytechnic Lucknow

G B Pant Polytechnic, Mohan Road Lucknow was established by the Government in the sixties with the vision and aim to provide quality technical education to Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe students to make them self-dependent in the technical arena of the world.

Since then, the institute is running successfully under the administrative control of the director – Uttar Pradesh Social Welfare Department.

Since 1967, the institute is running in its present campus spread in over 20 hectares of land at main Mohan Road near Buddheshwar Chauraha, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh.

The Students of this institute have excelled in the field of Engineering a well as in the public sector also.

To name a few Sri Daddu Prasad who passed with Diploma in Civil Engineering in the year 1987 and Sri Ram Shanker Kushwaha who passed with Diploma in Electrical Engineering in the year 1981 is leading Politicians of the country.
